Test and measurement supplier TEVET has acquired LibertyGT from RADX Technologies. LibertyGT embarks as a real-time spectrum analysis (RTSA) radio frequency (RF) record and playback system for critical electronic warfare and 5G applications.
The LibertyGT system is modular, portable, and scalable. According to the companies, a single LibertyGT system can replace large rack-level systems that use separate record/playback technology and external storage systems. It relies on a family of software-defined synthetic instruments (SDSIs) to acquire, analyze, and present results for unique measurements faster than traditional testing methods. Viable for ATE system integrators and volume end-users, LibertyGT employs commercial technology to enable repeatability and reproducibility.
TEVET can customize LibertyGT for specific requirements and can add modules as applications scale. The system’s API supports NI LabVIEW, NI TestStand, C/C++, Python, and MATLAB via local and remote (TCP/IP) interfaces. Additionally, its server-based capabilities allow users to leverage PC and server technologies to enhance performance and overcome obsolescence in existing systems.
