After a long and tedious week of providing rankings, interviews, and education journalism on the Internet, the data scientists, academics, and education-focused staff at AcademicInfluence.com say “let’s rock.” Dave Tomar, managing editor of Inflection, the opinion, editorial, and news analysis journal of AcademicInfluence.com, is revealing his picks of and profiles for the 100 Best Rock Bands of All Time.
Dave says, “There’s more to learning than grades and tests. In fact, some of the most influential figures in the world are the musicians and artists who soundtrack our everyday lives. That’s why we’ve compiled this ranking of the Best Rock Bands of All Time. The luminaries included here have had a profound impact on our world and on our lives.”
Each article in Tomar’s series contains a definition of a particular rock genre and qualifications for inclusion on the list plus an explanation of the criteria for ranking. Each of the 100 rock artists in the countdown receives a detailed history and analysis, considerations for their inclusion on the list, and a Spotify playlist of essential tracks curated by Tomar.
Now I’m sure you cannot wait another second to know Dave Tomar’s (who!?) picks for the world’s greatest rock bands. So here are links to the picks, proposals, and perversions.
