Groomed for automotive applications, Vishay Intertechnology’s Beyschlag MFU 0603 fast-acting, thin-film chip fuse carries AEC-Q200 qualification. Current ratings range from 0.5A to 5A.
The device provides protection for voltage sensing circuits in battery management systems as well as circuit protection for small loads. It consists of a homogeneous metal alloy film on a high-grade ceramic substrate. Fuse elements feature a coating for electrical, mechanical, and climatic protection. The component also offers sulfur resistance in accordance with ASTM B 809. Available in a 0603 case size, the fuse has a voltage rating up to 63V, breakdown capacity of 50A, and an operating temperature range from -55°C to +125°C.
