In a compact 2020 case size with a 3-mm profile, Vishay Intertechnology’s automotive-grade IHLP-2020CZ-8A inductor specifies an operating temperature up to +180°C. Groomed for energy storage in dc/dc converter circuits operating at frequencies up to 2 MHz, the inductor also attenuates noise in high-current filtering applications up to the SRF of the inductor.
Due to the component’s high operating temperature, it’s highly viable for filtering and dc/dc conversion in engine and transmission control units, diesel injection drivers, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), exhaust gas recycling pumps, and navigation systems. The IHLP-2020CZ-8A features a typical DCR from 3.95 mΩ to 195 mΩ, inductance values from 0.22 μH to 15.0 μH, current ratings up to 18A, and the ability to withstand high transient current spikes without saturation.
Samples and production quantities of the IHLP-2020CZ-8A are available now, with lead times of 10 weeks. Pricing for US delivery starts at $0.50 each/10,000. For further knowledge, download and peruse the IHLP-2020CZ-8A datasheet.
