Laptop Delivers The Goods For High-Power Gamers

Known mainly for its televisions and other video products, LG unleashes its first gaming laptop computer, the UltraGear 17G90Q, which the company claims to deliver the hardware, power, speed, and performance cutting-edge gamers demand. A CES 2022 Innovation Award winner, the laptop features an 11th Gen Intel Tiger Lake H processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q graphics card, dual-channel memory, and an ultra-fast dual SSD setup.

Ensuring immersive and fluid gameplay, the UltraGear gaming laptop employs a 17-in. IPS panel with a 1 millisecond (ms) response time and a 300-Hz refresh rate. And ensuring the unit keeps its cool under intense operation, LG’s cooling system with vapor chamber keeps the laptop running cools. Other features include a portable design, 93Wh battery, and it measures under 0.84-in. thick and weighs less than 5.952 lbs.

Further enhancing the gaming experience, LG UltraGear Studio gaming software lets users customize gaming-related options and track a variety of performance data including CPU clock, GPU TDP and clock, and memory share rate, all in real-time. Additionally, users can choose and apply a different color to every single key of the laptop’s RGB keyboard.
