Covid’s latest HDMI cable, the EC-HD31, is a non-plenum cable that supports ultra-high-speed transmissions up to 8K@60, 4:4:4 deep color sampling, 8K100/120, 10K50/60, and up to 10K/100/120. The component is also backward compatible with 4K/60 4:4:4 resolutions.
The flexible 48-Gbps 8K HDMI cable supports Deep Color and x.v.Color, HDR10, eARC for Dolby Atmos and DTS-X 5.1/7.1, lossless Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD Surround Sound. It additionally supports CEC extension commands and functions, HDMI Ethernet channels, and ARC features. Integrators can include up to 32 audio channels (LPCM) and a 21:9 aspect ratio. Other features include an aluminum housing and gold-plated HDMI connectors with a low-profile aluminum head.
