BLINK Returns To Cincinnati

Deemed the nation’s largest light, art, and projection mapping experience, BLINK, Illuminated by ArtsWave, returns to Cincinnati for the first time since 2019 and with a new artist roster. The outdoor event is announcing 18 US-based and three international artists/institutions for large-scale projection mapping, murals, and interactive light sculptures

New artists making the scene include FAILE, a Brooklyn-based artistic collaboration between Patrick McNeil and Patrick Miller who will their fragmented style to BLINK. Adding a pop culture element, L’Amour Supreme provides decades of reinterpreted comic books, action figures, and monster movie references, wired into his lexicon of 21st century pop imagery, displayed in mural form.

Canadian painter and muralist Michelle Hoogveld will weave a tapestry of color, aiming to create a shared experience for all visitors. Chroma Projects brings a decade of global experience in murals and experiential art and multidisciplinary artist Greg Mike creates murals through his personal lens of surrealist pop art.

Returning artist George Berlin provides projection mapping onto Hotel Covington in northern Kentucky (NKY). Other returning favorites include Greg D’Amico who will also do projection mapping in NKY at the Gateway Center.
