Manufacturer of high-performance, low-cost sensors and sensing components Posifa Technologies adds more models to its PLF2000 series of MEMS liquid flow sensors. The additions expand options for use in ultra-low-flow medical, life science, and microfluidic systems.

To support tighter closed-loop control in compact liquid delivery architectures, the latest additions offer calibrated ranges from 0 to 30 mL/min to 0 to 200 mL/min. They provide both analog voltage and digital I²C outputs and deliver linear performance across their specified ranges. New PLF2000 series sensors include.:

Employing the company’s MEMS thermal flow technology, the PLF2000 series features a straight, unobstructed flow path and no moving parts. Typical response time is 100 ms and accuracy is ±10% of reading. The components operate from a 5V supply with an operating current of 22 mA and handle operating pressures up to 50 psi.
For ease of integration, PLF2000 sensors support push-to-connect fitting options and comply with NSF/ANSI 61 requirements for drinking-water-system components. Samples and production quantities of the new models are available now. For deeper details, peruse the PLF2000 series liquid flow sensors datasheet.
