Collaborators Create Next-Gen Music Rights Management Platform

Reactional Music, a music personalization platform for gaming and modular rights-management company MusicInfra are teaming up to make music licensing easier and more efficient for developers and creators. MusicInfra will connect its rights management infrastructure with Reactional’s music delivery platform, with the goal of ensuring accurate, efficient, and transparent tracking of music use at scale.

MusicInfra’s modular rights management platform provides analytics and streamlined payment processing, giving rightsholders greater visibility into how their music performs. The partnership with Reactional Music brings together complementary expertise. Reactional teams have backgrounds in games and music at Apple, Take 2, EA, Sony Music, and Activision, while MusicInfra’s team comes from YouTube, Spotify, Hipgnosis, Meta, and Gracenote.

Matt Connors, CEO of Reactional Music, explains, “Reactional chose MusicInfra because innovation recognizes innovation. Its forward-thinking rights management platform supports our breakthrough licensing model in bringing popular music to gaming’s billions of players—removing the friction, expense, and technical barriers that have kept two of the world’s largest entertainment industries apart for too long.”

CEO and co-founder of MusicInfra Björn Lindvall amplifies, “This partnership exemplifies why MusicInfra exists. Reactional is opening up new creative and commercial possibilities for music, but these are only realizable if the infrastructure works for platforms, rightsholders, and creators. We’re building the essential plumbing that allows both new, and already existing, sectors of the music industry to flourish.”
