Vishay Intertechnology’s NTCS0402E3104*XT AEC-Q200 qualified, glass-protected NTC thermistor comes in the popular and widely used 0.5 mm x 0.5 mm x 1 mm 0402 case size. This makes the component a drop-in replacement for similar components in automotive LED modules, electronic control units, sensor clusters, battery packs, and other modules.
The component combines a beta (B25/85) value of 4311 K with an electrical resistance value at +25°C (R25) of 100 kΩ. It specifies tolerances down to ±1% for both its R25 and B25/85 values, an operating temperature range from -55°C to +150°C, and an ESD withstand of less than 25 kV in accordance with the Human Body Model (HBM).
Featuring SMD construction with NiSn terminations, the thermistor is suitable for wave or reflow soldering. Samples and production quantities are available now with lead times of 13 weeks.
