VST Plugin Injects Stem Splitting Power Into Popular Music Creation Platforms

by Mat Dirjish

LALAL.AI, an AI-powered audio processing service that helps users separate vocals, instruments, and other audio components from music and video files, introduces its first Virtual Studio Technology (VST) plugin, which will allow music makers to use popular stem-splitting models in their digital audio workstations (DAWs). As per the company, the plugin eliminates the need for tab jumping and repetitive uploading.

Both artists and producers can use the VST plugin to split any track with vocals into a vocal stem and instrumental bed. The plug-in works in any DAW compatible with VST3 technology including Ableton, FL Studio, Audacity, and others. Also, the plug-in uses LALAL.AI’s Lyra model that runs locally on any hardware. Reportedly, Lyra is fast and effective, enabling unlimited experimentation.

Nik Pogorsky, LALAL.AI’s product owner and co-founder, explains, “LALAL.AI’s VST is not only the best in terms of quality, but it is the only AI-powered VST that truly functions as a VST within a DAW. Isolating vocals or making a purely instrumental track can happen as fluidly as a producer or artist does any other task inside their preferred software.”

The plugin is available now to LALAL.AI’s premium subscribers. For deeper details, visit the LALAL.AI website.
