TFT Chip Resistors Feature Proven Sulfur Resistance And Long-Term Stability

by Mat Dirjish

Vishay Intertechnology’s AEC-Q200 qualified RCA-SR e3 series thick-film technology (TFT) chip resistors combine solid sulfur resistance with long term stability. Available in 0201, 0402, 0603, 0805, and 1206 case sizes, the components provide a sulfur withstand capability in accordance with ASTM B809-25 and specify a maximum resistance drift of 1% after 1,000 hours at 60°C. Additionally, the series ensures high stability in challenging environments to the tune of ΔR/R ≤1% after 1,000 hours of rated power at 70°C.

The resistors specify power ratings up to 0.25W and an operating voltage range from 30V to 200V. Resistance values range from 10Ω to 10 MΩ with tolerances of ±1% and ±5% and TCRs of ±100 ppm/K and ±200 ppm/K. Other features include a protective coating that provides electrical, mechanical, and temperature protection.

Samples and production quantities of the RCA-SR e3 series are available now, with lead times of 12 weeks. Pricing for US delivery ranges from $0.0033 to $0.0077 each for minimum order quantities by case size. For deeper details, procure and peruse the RCA-SR e3 series datasheet.
