Vishay Intertechnology’s SGCM05339 space-grade, surface-mount common mode choke provides EMI filtering and noise suppression in space, aerospace, and defense applications. The component is particularly suitable for GaN and SiC switching applications, in which sharp edges develop in waveforms, causing radiated emissions.
Capable of withstanding harsh environments, the self-shielded component features a compact, nanocrystalline core and an over-molded package. It supports high-heat current-rating capabilities up to 14.43A and specifies a continuous operating temperature range from -55°C to +130°C.

Other features include outgassing compliance per ASTM-E595, screening options including MIL-PRF-27, Grade 5, Product Level T, Temperature Class S; MIL-STD-981 Family-4, Class S; and EEE-INST-002, a dielectric withstand voltage of 1 kVRMS, and an insulation resistance of 10 GΩ minimum at 500 Vd., Additionally, the component is customizable by turn count, wire gauge, and other options to meet application requirements.

Samples and production quantities are available now, with lead times of 8 to 12 weeks. For deeper details, procure and peruse the SGCM05339 datasheet.
