Discovery Platform Connects Music Artists To More Fans

by Mat Dirjish

Notable for games, scavenger hunts, giveaways, and AI-powered deal discovery, PassPass is adding another feature: PassPass for Artists. Open to all, the addition is a discovery platform for artists who wish to reach more music fans.

PassPass for Artists works in a simple, straight forward manner. Artists submit their tracks for review by the PassPass team. Once the team approves a track, it becomes useable across PassPass events and offerings in more than 20 US cities. Artists can select the dates and cities most important to them and launch their campaigns.

Reportedly, PassPass has two-million-plus fans and registers 100-million monthly song plays on Instagram. PassPass founder and CEO Edgel Groves explains. “I’m a musician and former music exec who appreciates what it means to be an artist and work in this business. We started in Nashville, and we’ve always worked with musicians, along with big brands. We know how powerful our drops can be in boosting a track’s listeners and wanted to open up our audience and capabilities to more talented music makers.”
