Vishay Intertechnology’s latest IHLP inductor in a 1212 case size targets space-constrained commercial applications. Promising comparable electrical performance to larger devices, the IHLP1212-EZ-1Z features a 3 mm x 3 mm footprint with three profile options of 1.2 mm, 1.5 mm, and 2.0 mm.
The component promises to boost efficiency in a plethora of commercial applications. Specifications include a typical DCR from 8.6 mΩ to 50.4 mΩ, inductance values from 0.22 µH to 3.3 µH, current rating to 14.3A, and an operating temperature range from -55°C to +125°C. Boasting better performance over ferrite-based technologies, the IHLP1212-EZ-1Z features a powdered iron body that encapsulates its windings, thereby eliminating air gaps and magnetically shielding against crosstalk.
