Interactive Performance Spectacle Hits The Road

by Mat Dirjish

Meow Wolf, a creator of immersive, mind-bending interactive experiences for people of all ages, presents its Phenomenomaly, an interactive performance spectacle described as art immersive theater, part art party, and part glow worm migration. Simultaneous exhibitions are running now through August at 9, 2026 at: House of Eternal Return in Santa Fe, Omega Mart in Las Vegas, Convergence Station in Denver, The Real Unreal in Grapevine, Texas, and Radio Tave in Houston.

Phenomenomaly layers live theater, dance, puppetry, and roaming quests through virtual worlds. Its 45-minute performances loop multiple times per day and reshape themselves to the weirdness of their host space. In other words, no two shows are alike.

Participants can wander, watch, eavesdrop on strange conversations, or hop in with a crew of interplanetary tourists called the Lil’ Bigg Miss Fitts, who require help completing their mission. Small crowd actions move stories toward their crescendos.

Each city listed above enlists a rotating cast of local guest performers, therefore no two locales offer the same performers. National collaborators include artist/designers Basqo Bim, Iggy & Andy, Kate Major, Monsters of the Underworld, and Sam Johnson of Colossal Collective is back as Puppet Project Manager.

Phenomenomaly cocktails and merch are available only while the migration is in town. For greater gleanings and to purchase tickets, visit the Phenomenomaly website.
