Developer Program Lets The Music Industry Craft Its Own Tools

by Mat Dirjish

Artist Growth (AG), developer of a purpose-built operating platform for the music industry, Unveils its Developer Program, which it claims will allow anyone to build dashboards and apps securely in hours using AI coding tools. Approved developers will get access by the end of 2026.

The program starts with a manager wanting a branded app to manage an artist’s touring data and a specific project management workflow while keeping key information secure. Or a label team wanting to build a custom dashboard showing its artist’s KPIs that AG doesn’t offer that only the right team members can see.

The Program promises to support current music tech companies or projects that want to offer more to their clients. Reportedly, it can help existing software companies add AG-supported features to their platforms. The program will also allow entrepreneurs build an app they think could change the industry game, then take it to market.

Matt Urmy, AG’s CEO, explains, “Professionals in the music industry know what tools they need. The future of software development is giving teams the capability to craft their own experience, not force them into workflows they had no voice in designing. The rapid evolution of AI coding tools is supercharging software engineers and bringing the basics of software development into reach for non-engineers. The AG Developer Program will allow our customers to rapidly build their own environments against our APIs, powered by our infrastructure, so scalability and security remain uncompromised. Within six months, we’ll have daily users that have never seen our native UI/UX.”

Applications are open now. Approved developers will have access by the end of 2026. For greater gleanings and to apply, peruse the Artist Growth Developer Program overview.
