Expanding the capabilities of its SensEI’s edgeRX predictive maintenance platform, TDK unveils the SensEI edgeRX Pro, a high-performance sensor node that promises higher sampling frequencies, stronger AI models, and broader sensor support. The edgeRX Pro platform integrates vibration, acoustic, magnetic, temperature, and rotational motion sensing. It leverages an integral six-axis IMU and edge AI processing in an IP67 enclosure.
In addition to battery operation, SensEI edgeRX Pro also supports USB wired power, with USB power prioritized when connected. Designed for harsh industrial environments, it enables long-term monitoring with up to 10 years of battery life.
Additionally, the sensor offers greater on-device analytics and more sensing inputs that include the six-axis IMU, magnetometer, and digital microphone. Main applications include:
- Manufacturing (lithium battery, semiconductor, precision machining, iron & steel).
- Energy & Utilities (electric power, natural gas, oil & gas).
- HVAC and smart buildings.
- Warehousing and industrial facilities.
