On a crusade to make everyone’s drums sound better and hit harder, multi-platinum producer DECAP and Knock Audio unveil KNOCK 2, the next generation of their KNOCK drum processing plugin. The latest version features a redeveloped DSP and an expanded feature set.

Global producers across all genres believe DECAP’s approach has shaped the sound of modern music with a bigger, fuller, more saturated sound. Sounds by DECAP are audible in GRAMMY-winning tracks from the production teams behind everyone from Snoop Dogg and Bad Bunny to Charli XCX and Dua Lipa.
KNOCK is compatible with all DAWs and available on MacOS and Windows in AU, VST3, and AAX formats. Allegedly easy to use and customize, it offers an intuitive design and interface plus numerous presets to get new producers working as well as advanced features for seasoned professionals. Though focusing on drums, KNOCK also promises to open up sonic possibilities for vocals, bass, and sound design.
Rebuilt around a modular signal path with new capabilities, the platform now allows modular signal processing that lets producers change the order of modules in their signal chain, as well as per-module depth for fine-tuning. Along with its original modules, KNOCK 2 features a new module dubbed COMP that provides compression. It emulates several notable hardware compressors with attack, release, and ratio parameters as well as SNAP, PUMP, GRIP, and SLAM functions.

Other new features include
- PURR: a global flutter effect that sits at the bottom of the plugin.
- CALIBRATE: automatic gain-staging to deliver reliable response no matter the source material.
KNOCK 2 is available now. For more details and/or to purchase, visit the Knock Audio website.
